Water is the most important element for life. It acts as both a solvent and a delivery mechanism, dissolving essential vitamins and nutrients from food and delivering them to cells. Our bodies also use water to flush out toxins, regulate body temperature and aid our metabolism. Water makes up nearly 60 percent of our bodies or that we can’t go for more than a few days without it. It also helps us to stay clean and free from impurities. It is a blessing from Allah as Allah says in in the Quran

“And have you seen the water that you drink? Is it you who brought it down from the clouds, or is it We who bring it down? If We willed, We could make it bitter, so why are you not grateful?”

The Holy Quran

56: 58-70

It is also a resource that should be shared as this is a blessing for all creatures. In a Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (SM) describes  water as  “Muslims have common  share in three (things). Grass, water and fire” (Abu Dawod).
